Pharmaceutical giant Gilead has announced pricing for its coronavirus drug remdesivir, and it’s just short of an arm and a leg.

Gilead said the drug will cost $520 per vial, or $3,120 for a six-vial treatment, for private insurance companies. And that’s for the short treatment. The long treatment will cost $5,720.

White Collar Racketeering extortion$, plain and simple.. happens all the time because big money Pharma and high dollar lawyers keep on rolling around in the dough and handing out incentives-bribes and lawsuits all on the pubic dime.

It's gotten so rotten they can even advertise all the horrific side effects that their counterparts later advertise class action suits to join in and both make up half the adds on TV at times.

What a bunch of obtuse creeps who fancy themselve$ more than anyone or thing they pretend to really care about.

Years and even decades ago amazing results in high dose Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C)IV treatments even for Cancer, vascular disease and virus or bacterial infections were verified. But no one is willing to openly and honestly test it in clinical studies because it's natural (no high dollar patent)and relatively abundant and inexpensive even in it's purest form.

Reminds me of an old guy I helped out for a while to live on his own who had discovered on his own early on in life that he had Celiac disease... which is gluten intolerance requiring a gluten free diet.
So it also interested him in health and nutritional supplements as a hobby and longer stories short a doctor in a nearby town threatened to charge him for practicing medicine without a license after he effectively helped several women and a young cancer patient through the grape vine to recover when chemical tech trained doctors hadn't a clue for any effective solutions.

Anyway with his friend who's daughter was a cancer patient he gave a container of pure Ascorbic acid(vitamin C) powder an talked about all the benefits of a low to no starch ie sugars diet.
Her prognosis was very dim clinically progressing downward with chemo until this snake oil jerk comes along and rocks the proverbial boat because he actually cared enough to help try whatever actually works .. she beat it, thanks of course to all the clinicians.

I would trust most any doctor if I suffer a physical injury and I'll leave it at that.

That's why it's called "practicing" medicine!
