Beware that you do not strain at gnats while swallowing camels. Jesus Christ said that he alone is the author and finisher of one's faith.

If you wonder where "I am coming from" take the time to keep all that I say here in context without cherry picking and changing my words as one spiritually dead fool here finds pleasure in doing.
The truly sane person is a lover of truth above all else who seeks to be informed by reality in whole without dissimulation, bias or private interpretation. Many try but they are few indeed who can walk that path. Arguments can cease with commonly accepted definitions of terms.

If you say what you mean and mean what you say without resorting first to base insults or 10 links to speak for you ?

How about speaking from your own understanding of Orthodox theology ?

Hearing, you hear not. Seeing, you see not. You are old in years yet a child in understanding. You exemplify Cognitive Dissonance which is a global psychological pandemic worse than Covid-19. This linked article is about 27 printed pages long. I printed it for granular study. You should too.

That's a very poor understanding of Orthodox theology which I had hoped you might somewhat have an initial grasp of when recognizing the wisdom of St.John of Damascus concerning freewill.

Whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell of fire.

There ya go, finally semi fixed it for ya.

What amazes me and most of all religions is how such pathetic creatures (as far as animals go in your secular post modern world view religion) actually survive or thrive in such harsh and predatory natural world conditions.

A world that increasingly fewer people have any pure experience in dealing with or appreciating on any long term basis like frequently playing in the woods or on rock formations as a child to camping out for work weeks at a time in a wilderness on a surveying crew of two.. one being sort of like you but not for very long.

It's really all about personal realization from within not societal conditioning or peer pressure and if natural beauty even in the midst of it's often harsh reality escapes us then we are truly lost.

I have been to Catholic Churches..I am married to a Catholic...I have been to Orthodox Churches...I think we can look at what seperates us or we can look at what we have in common...our choice and has nothing to do with my loving Lord Jesus the Christ

That's a point...we may well look to our loving, LIVING, Lord Jesus Christ. (Though I do not know if I would leave the angels out of the equation).

"There are 2 bases for any ethical system. (1) Aristocratic code (2) Religion. Liberals reject both which leaves them with exactly nothing… A man without code or religion has no other reason other than mere preference to consider any interests other than his own. Why should “he think in time” beyond his own life [or] hesitate to expoit anyone?"
