As the January 6th Unselect Committee continues to outright lie to the American people, we must not forget that there are still POLITICAL PRISONERS BEING DETAINED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Locked in cages in pre-trial detention for over a year and a half and counting, many in solitary confinement, some awaiting trials not set until 2023 or later.

A Lycoming County man awaiting sentencing for illegally entering the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, has died.
The death Wednesday of Mark R. Aungst, 47, of South Williamsport, was ruled a suicide, Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. said.
Aungst pleaded guilty June 27 in District of Columbia federal court to a charge of demonstrating or parading in a restricted building. His sentencing was scheduled for Sept. 27 before Judge Reggie B. Walton. He could have been sentenced up to six months in prison and fined $5,000.
Aungst and co-defendant Tammy A. Bronsburg, who pleaded guilty to the same charge, traveled by bus to Washington on Jan. 6, 2021 for President Trump’s “stop the steal” rally. They then joined others and marched to the Capitol.
Neither assaulted a police officer nor stole or damaged government property

Why Didn’t We Hear from Officer Michael Byrd?
Byrd, a Pelosi guard, shot and killed Ashli Babbitt inside the Capitol January 6. The Air Force vet was unarmed. Posed no risk. Video hidden for over a year now shows that in the minutes before being killed, Babbitt — a former military cop — had been begging officers to get more help. She was ignored. She was also trying unsuccessfully to stop an agitator from breaking the glass on the door leading to the Speaker’s suite. Babbitt’s husband believes she only went through the opening … and to her execution … to escape being crushed in the pressing crowd.
Wouldn’t we need to know Byrd’s side of things? Under oath? Do the America people know that Byrd refused to cooperate with the FBI and Metropolitan police investigations into Babbitt’s killing? And the FBI and DC police simply shrugged rather than force the issue? Oh, sure, after a year of being hidden away — with Pelosi even refusing to release his name — Byrd could run to NBC News’s Lester Holt for a cozy interview. But talk to authorities under oath? The Department of Injustice has gone out of their way to completely destroy the life and family of Texan Guy Reffitt. Using techniques out of a Nazi Germany playbook, the FBI enticed Reffitt’s teenage son Jackson to secretly record conversations with his Dad in the family home, asking loaded questions to entrap him. Jackson was the star witness for the prosecution that nailed the coffin for his Father, who wept uncontrollably when he saw his son come to the stand to testify.
Guy says...he got back from overseas and went to high school there in Wylie High School, the teacher a lot of the kids really liked was the “Ingenuity” teacher. They were all giddy about her and all of that, but she was teaching them about Communism and Socialism. They used our Facebook account to make a point to show the kids extreme Conservatives, as she put it in the classroom. Some of his friends and he said that they believe in Communism and they wanted the country to turn into Communism. One of his friends got so upset on January 6th when they were in the living room watching what happened, that when Nicole started talking about the Constitution she got up and left…she was so offended that the Constitution would even be discussed.Reffitt never entered the Capitol and the evidence that buried him in court was mainly his hyperbolic and rhetorical speech or threats, which are PROTECTED BY THE CONSTITUTION. This is a subject that needs to be seriously addressed, as most J6’ers were guilty of nothing more that hyperbolic threats, Reffitt no exception. His wife and daughters described him as a lovable blowhard who never follows up with his zany speech, and that he uses hyperbolic “threats” as a means of expression. The DOJ is pushing for protesters at a political rally to support the sitting President to SERVE TIME FOR TERRORISM- something they were never convicted of by a jury. The DOJ is terrorizing American defendants to plea bargain under extreme mental duress and threat, terrifying them into not exercising their right to a jury trail!
With the terrorism charge enhancement, Reffitt’s attorney Clinton Broden said the sentence imposed can be as high as 60 years.
Reffitt has penned a last minute letter to Biden in hopes that the Department of Justice will show him some clemency as he is desperate to get back to his family in Texas. Reffitt has spent over a year and a half first in pre-trial detention and then awaiting sentencing at DC Gitmo.
“My question to you is simply this – as the man who promised to unite our great country, do you agree with this unprecedented “upward departure” from the sentencing guidelines? Bear in mind, I was never at any time charged with TERRORISM! This additional charge is blatantly unfair and to any objective observer, patently unjust. For the court to blame me for the actions of others and attempt to make an example of me to strike fear in others who choose to take their case to trial is the opposite of what we stand for as the shining city on the hill. The right to a fair trial is a constitutionally protected right of all US Citizens, and any such act of intimidation is blatantly unconstitutional!
While I have been incarcerated for the last 18 months, and repeatedly subject to solitary confinement, the only money my wife and family had to survive was through GiveSendGo. My lawyer is owed $10,000 before sentencing and another $10,000 afterwards. I cannot pay this and my wife and family will suffer. My hands are tied and I am at a loss as to what to do. I am completely out of options, and compelled to write this public letter to you. “
On background, Reffitt was found guilty by a biased jury under the pressure of the Department of Justice and represented by useless leftist public defender William Welch. (*Reffitt has since retained a private attorney to represent him moving forward with sentencing and Appeals.) On top of punishment for these “crimes” the DOJ is asking the court for an upward departure to at least 15 years for a “Terrorism Enhancement”, in spite of the fact that Guy Reffitt engaged in no violence with Police Officers that day. The DOJ is essentially trying to pin the actions of others onto Guy, and impose a penalty so harsh that it would act as a “deterrent”. Yet, the only thing the Government is trying to “deter” people from is taking their case to a jury trial – which is their Constitutional Right as outlined in the 6th Amendment of the Bill of Rights! This must be taken to the Supreme Court as it is a clear violation of due process guaranteed to every American citizen.

THE TEENAGER ASKED THE JUDGE GIVE HIS DAD THE MAXIMUM SENTENCE.
He said his father has “slowly lost himself over the years”, “fallen into a horrible community to find a place in this life.”, and asked for “mental health treatment” to be part of his father’ sentence.
U.S. District Judge Dabney Friedrich sentenced Guy Reffitt to serve 87 months in prison, to be followed by 3 years of supervised release. Dabney warned Reffitt if he violates terms he will go back to prison for up to the maximum term. This was the minimum sentence under sentencing guidelines of 87-108 months.
Reffitt will serve the longest prison term handed down to date to any defendant connected to January 6th.
Although Reffitt did not enter the Capitol or attack police, what buried him was his “Hyperbolic and Rhetorical Statements”, which are CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED FREE SPEECH.
This is a fact that the country has been brainwashed and “retrained” out of public understanding throughout the duration of the January 6th Propaganda Hearings. HYPERBOLIC STATEMENTS, EVEN THOSE ALLUDING TO VIOLENCE, HAS BEEN DEEMED CONSTITUTIONAL IN MULTIPLE SUPREME COURT CASES.
Furthermore, many of Reffitt’s “hyperbolic statements” used against him in court were made in his own home on medications as he was being secretly tape recorded by his teenage son Jackson (who turned him over to the FBI and acted as star witness for the prosecution).

It was surreal to witness a Progressive Democrat Public Defender stand up for the Constitutional Rights of a Trump Supporter in a Washington DC Federal Courtroom this past week.
Although some will say Natasha Taylor-Smith was just doing her job by defending her client Kyle Fitzsimons, she is a rare exception to the rule. Many J6 public defenders have completely neglected their clients.
And if the old adage “where there’s smoke there’s fire” has any credence whatsoever, Mr Fitzsimmons felt as though he was watching a towering inferno. And so he watched intently as challenges and rallies were held across the country. And although he saw the results of each challenge fade away, he was still being pulled by these same mainstream individuals, and by the Chief Executive Officer of this nation- that there was a plan! That plan did not include the military. It did not include violence, or guns, or weapons of any kind. All that needed to happen was for the State’s Legislatures to come together on January 6th and to object to the certification.
TO COME TOGETHER ON JANUARY 6TH AND OBJECT TO THE CERTIFICATION.
They had every right to do so. And each of them had taken an oath to protect our Constitution, and that included ensuring free and fair elections. It was their responsibility. And if the Congressmen did that, and they found there to be irregularities, they would act. And if they didn’t, it would be over, and Joseph R. Biden would be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.
That’s what this country is all about. That is what our nation is built upon.
Mr. Fitzsimons never attempted to actually enter the Capitol building itself, and his sole purpose for traveling from Maine to the District of Columbia was to witness and support those legislators who had already committed to objecting to the certification. Mr. Fitzsimons could not get what he wanted if he somehow stopped that process from happening.
