Hey, everyone. Everyone . . . could I please have your attention. [The conversational chatter of the room dies down. Silence remains.] Folks, guess what?
We did it folks! We successfully connected to, . . . THE WORLD WEB!!!!!!! [YEA!!!!! Noisy cheers and noise-makers erupt. People smile at one another, and some extend their hands in vigorous handshakes and back-slapping. Some high-five other team members.] That's right folks. WORLD WIDE WEB!!! Not the county web, the WORLD WIDE WEB!!!!!! [Pause.] Congratulations everyone, congratulations. Please, give yourselves a big round of applause!!!!!! [Applause and cheers.]

[I, myself, am somewhat amazed.] Thanks to you all for your great efforts. It's been an amazing time for all of us. I'm proud to have been the team leader of this project. No one could be prouder of your diligent, sometimes incredible, striving. [There are fairly subdued cheers. I pause to let the cheers subside, then I continue on.] Great job guys . . . oh, and girls! [Laughter.]
[Now, quietly, a chant begins. 'Web. . .web. . .web', is the chant. The chant grows louder. I raise my arms in an effort to calm the crowd.] Okay, folks. [web, . . .WEB, . . . WEB!!!] Please folks. [They haul me off of the floor and lift me into the air. . . .cheering and chanting, WEB, WEB, WEB!!!!!!!]
